If it’s June, it must be time for HFMA ANI 2016, when revenue cycle pros from across the country gather in Las Vegas to share experiences, learn from the best, and network with peers. And this year RelayHealth Financial has an agenda that has something for everyone. Here’s a quick summary of some of the events and sessions:
- Book Signing
On Sunday evening, immediately following the opening keynote, come meet keynote speaker Julie Williamson, PhD, co-author of “Matter: Move Beyond the Competition, Create More Value, and Become the Obvious Choice.” She’ll sign free copies of the book in the RelayHealth Financial booth (#214 at the Venetian and Palazzo Hotel-Resort/Sands Expo Center) beginning at 6:00 p.m. Last year, the line wrapped around the exhibit hall floor, so get there early!
- New Solutions
On the show floor Sunday through Tuesday (again, booth 214), RelayHealth Financial will showcase new technologies and services including automated preauthorization screening and verification, streamlined appeals processing, and analytics to drive process improvement. These solutions help providers prevent denials, improve collections, eliminate costly processes, and identify growth opportunities.
- Expert Insight
On Monday, June 27th at 2:15 p.m. PDT, three healthcare finance leaders from Health First Inc. will present a general session, “Improving Data Accuracy and Claims Processing Through Access Team Accountability” (session A13). They will share a unique approach to front-end revenue cycle processes that can change employee accountability for registration accuracy, clean claims, and increased collections.
Rub shoulders on the red carpet with the likes of Mike Tyson, Brad and Angie, Babe Ruth, Elvis Presley, Celine Dion, and a splendid lineup of other celebrity icons. It’s “An Evening with the Stars” at Madame Tussaud’s Las Vegas in the Venetian, organized by the HFMA. It will undoubtedly be remembered as the most star-studded experience in ANI history! Monday evening, from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m.
